PROJECT INFORMATION
Client Overview
HDFC is one of India’s leading national banking institutions. This project involved the execution of a branch office supported by a backend operational facility, located at Zenith House near Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai. The scope of work covered Civil and Interior (C&I) execution across approximately 80,000 square feet, aligning with the bank’s operational standards and corporate design framework.
Problem Statement
The project was scheduled for completion within a defined timeline of 90 days, requiring detailed pre-construction planning and highly coordinated execution. Given the scale of the project and the involvement of multiple stakeholders including MEP vendors, project management consultants (PMC), design consultants, and the client’s internal teams structured coordination and seamless communication were essential to ensure progress across parallel workstreams without disruption.
Design Approach
Execution was carried out in accordance with the design docket issued for the defined scope. Detailed planning and scheduling were undertaken prior to site mobilization to align construction activities with stakeholder inputs and interdependent services. Clear sequencing of civil and interior works ensured alignment with MEP installations and consultant approvals. The approach focused on maintaining consistency with the bank’s operational requirements while ensuring efficiency in execution and quality control across all areas.
Execution
A dedicated full-time project team was deployed to oversee daily progress, coordinate with all stakeholders, and ensure timely resolution of site requirements. Continuous monitoring, structured reporting, and proactive coordination enabled smooth workflow management within the compressed timeline. The project was successfully completed within the planned schedule, meeting the client’s expectations in terms of turnaround time, coordination efficiency, and overall execution quality.
