Client Overview
Allstate is a leading insurance provider offering auto, home, life, and health insurance products to individuals and corporate clients across the United States and Canada. This project involved the development of their office at Gera Commerzone, Kharadi, Pune, covering approximately 1 lakh square feet. Executed as a General Contracting project, the objective was to establish a modern workplace aligned with Allstate’s global standards, focusing on creating an employee-centric environment that supports collaboration, flexibility, and productivity.
Problem Statement
The project required the development of a fully functional and contemporary workspace within a defined timeline, ensuring alignment with the client’s global workplace vision. The site location on higher floors required detailed logistical planning to ensure smooth movement of materials and efficient execution. Additionally, execution activities needed to be carefully phased and coordinated to maintain workflow efficiency across different zones of the project. The overall objective was to deliver a workspace that seamlessly integrated architectural design, functionality, and operational efficiency while adhering to the planned schedule.
Design Approach
The design approach focused on creating a refined and engaging workplace environment that reflected Allstate’s global identity and workplace philosophy. The reception area was developed as a key visual highlight, featuring premium marble flooring complemented by curved wooden wall paneling that added warmth and architectural depth. Collaborative spaces were thoughtfully designed to encourage interaction while maintaining comfort and functionality. The town hall area incorporated open seating arrangements supported by distinctive amoeba-shaped lighting elements, creating a dynamic and modern atmosphere. Training rooms and pantry areas were designed with unique themes to enhance user experience and contribute to a vibrant and diverse workplace environment.
